I have been enjoying Canned Heat - The Very Best this week. I have also been listening to a bunch of Radiohead lately.
Kathy, Ronnie Monica and I are going to see Adele in Jan in SF. Should be good.

I just bought 3 CDs by Patti Scialfa, wife and backup of Bruce Springsteen, because I love her voice, so far I've listened to Rumble Doll. Love it!
I have been listening to One Republic, Adele, and older stuff by Celine Dion, and Kenny G. The next song I hear I will turn it up a few notches and think of my family Love you :-)
We have been listening to Pink's new album Funhouse. I also am a big fan of Flogging Molly. Within a mile of home is one of my favorite cd's. Don't you just LOVE music!!
I really like "devil's dance floor" and "whats left of the flag". All of their cds are good, but I think I prefer Drunken Lullabies
The most rescent CD I have purchased. Katy Perry & Carrie Underwoods latest. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon and Frank Sinarta's "Greatest Hits" Vol. 1&2. So much music and only two ears.

I've been listening to David Cook, ok I'm an American Idol junkie :)
I love Los Lonely Boys and at work I've been listening to Kingfish and of course the Dead. Nothing puts everything back into order like a little Sugar Magnolia!
Lately, the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble has been played a lot. Check out the song Jupiter. They were playing in the Union Square subway station one day. They were so compelling, I bought three albums.
My friend Lyman put out a jazz album a couple years ago that I'll push onto anyone who'll listen. Ten songs: five originals, five covers. The originals are better then the covers. Among my Top Ten Albums Ever.
Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine is alternately fun and somber.
DJ Shadow's Endtroducing seems to show up in one playlist or another.
Medeski Martin & Wood's End of the Universe Party (Just in Case) takes a very cinematic and surreal approach to jazz fusion.
