THIS IS THE TIME OF OUR LIVES Reading the Sunday paper today, in PARADE Magazine there was a letter written by President Elect Obama to his daughters Malia and Sasha. While reading I could not help but to think of my granddaughter Paige, just 3 1/2 eyes filled with wonder and questions ready to be asked, the world open to every possibility she ever could image.
The words he wrote to his daughters are words we can pass on to our own children and worlds we as adults should live by.
"Right the wrongs you see and work to give others the changes you've had."He also writes, "And I want us to push our own human boundaries to reach beyond the divides of race and region, gender and religion that keep us from seeing the best in each other." "These are the things I want for you-to grow up in a world with no limits on your dreams and no achievements beyond your reach, and grow inot compassionate, committed women who will build that world.
To all of my family, I wish you peace, hope and love as we watch our counrty take one giant step forward on Tuesday.

What a beautiful little Paige!. I, too, am feeling that we are in a new era, I am so hopeful and prepared to do what I can in the years ahead to extend myself a little more.
