Hi all, how is everyone doing? I just completed my first full week at my new job. I was hired by Fairport Central School District as a Programmer Analyst. I will be developing .NET programs along with maintaining systems I put in place while I was there as an intern. I completed all three of RIT's required internships at the school district so I already am familiar with everyone and it is great to be back. All of my coworkers are great and the IT director is doing a lot of new things with technology in the classroom and I am excited to have the opportunity to help.
Plus I get state benefits, my own office, and I can ride my bike to work every day because it is only about 10 minutes away. I am really excited =)

That is awesome Logan, congrats!
It's actually funny the way it worked out. They brought me in to do some contracting work on one of the systems I implemented when I was an intern. I had a meeting with them on a Monday morning about the contract work, and then I had my first interview the next morning.
Sif1974Congratulations Logan. That's great to hear! Have you had your bike repaired since the accident? I just got myself a job at my girls school. It's exciting to be heading back in the work force after being a stay at home mom for 12 years. Well, once again great news and they're lucky to have you.
Congrats on your job also Mae. I was not able to repair the bike because of damage to the frame. The guy that hit me paid me so that I could buy a new one though.
