Dear Friends and Family,
I am sorry that I have not had a chance to call all of you and I apologize to those of you that have not yet heard that you are receiving this news over email.
My mom passed away yesterday afternoon. My sister and I were there with her. She went very peacefully and with out pain. It was Marion ’s wish to be cremated and in true Marion fashion did not want a big “to do” made about her passing. However, for those of us that knew and loved her we feel it appropriate to celebrate her life. Therefore, on Tuesday, January 5th the family will be holding an open house at my residence from 3:00PM to 8:00PM. Please come as you are, Mom would have wanted everyone to be comfortable.

I'm so sorry and saddened to hear of this. I will never forget "Cousin Marion." For a few years back in the 70's, she lived in Alameda by coincidence. One day, she and her then husband took Kathy, Mike and I to the Harlem Globetrotters for an afternoon of fun. We had a blast. My thoughts and condolences go out to you, Emily, Lincoln , Amanda, Great Aunt Loise, Catherine, Ed and all.
