I thought this sounded good. Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing - imagine that. When I found this recipe I thought it was perfect for people like me, who
just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked but not dried out. Give this a try.
8-15# turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (Orville Redenbachers low-fat)
salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey with melted butter, salt and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkeys ass blows the oven door open and bird flies across the room it is done.
And you thought I didn't cook!! Logan, I hope you have noticed that my typing has improved!

Would this work on a Tur-duc-kin?
Ed
Just when I thought you were really going to cook something. Wish you were here like the olden days!
Ed, are you having a tur duc kin? I heard of them last year. Let me know if you like it.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Good One Laura and Adrian. This year the food services at the hospital I work is making our Thanksgiving Dinner. For 5 bucks a plate, you can get Turkey, potatoes, veggies, stuffing,a roll, and a slice of pie. If you don't like Turkey they have salmon and pork options as well. Larry, Joshua, Grandma Laura(larry's mom), Sheri (larry's sister) and I are each ordering two plates, so we will be able to have left overs. It feels sort of weird to pick up my Thanksgiving dinner from work....
Hi Laura and Adrian. I'd love to see the video :)
Happy Thanksgiving one and all.
