Hello from Alaska

Hello everyone,

Thank you Irene for including me. I bet Alaska hasn't been in the news in a while. If some of you haven't heard our Governor was picked to be John McCain's VP candidate.

Here is a picture of her so if you see her you might recognize her.

I took this picture last February at the start of the 2008 Iron Dog. It was -25° and she hugged every team and wished them a safe trip and Gook Luck. I believe there were 24 teams.

Enough about Sarah. I like her, she has done a great job for Alaska and she is no only very nice but even better to me she is a good person.

Time for dinner,

Be safe,

Ed

Hi Ed,
It is Kathy, Irene's daughter. I just wanted to say nice to meet you. I have always wanted to see Alaska, maybe someday I'll come by and say hello :-). However, I don't know if I can handle -25 degrees. I'm a mess when it's in the 40s here :-o.
Take care,
Kathy

Kathy,
It would be a pleasure to meet you. Mid July or early August is the best time.

Hi Ed,Well for heaven's sake! I didn't know that I might have a relative in Alaska. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind introducing yourself, since I am not sure who you are. Are we related? Glad to meet you. Heidi

Hi, Ed,

It is so wonderful that we are finally able to meet.
*I am proud to say that I am your godmother, though hardly godly.

I held you in my arms wearing a black linen sheath with a white jacket and red flower on your baptismal day. (I think). You were a wonderful child during the ceremony. You let the priest douse you and dot you with oils.

Someday, maybe, we'll all meet for a cruise and head North to Willow. Love, Irene
