Smores

Kathy's Grandchildren from left to right: Simon, Gordon, Lydia, Ava, Lonnie, Joshua and Henry in our hearts.

I was able to visit Duluth this summer and see my mom, dad, sister, nieces and nephews. We all had a wonderful time. We spent many a night sitting around a fire eating Smores. So here is the tidbit about Smores that I have thought is just the best idea.... You all know how a smore usually requires a slab of chocolate, with a roasted marshmallow or two and graham crackers.... Instead of the graham crackers and chocolate, replace with a cookie, something like "Keebler" makes with the layer of chocolate on the back and pin stripes of chocolate on the top. Roast your marshmallow and create a sandwich with the cookies. Yum!

P.S. I am sorry you all had to be a part of my help session with Irene. I surely did not think it would be posted to the Blog. Now I can't pretend I know what in the heck I am doing :)

Love you all - Heidi

Dear Heidi,

What a joy to see your photo of my dear sister, Kathy and her beautiful grandchildren.

Pretty soon Greta will have another. Thanks for the smores recipe. I am so happy this letter is circulating.
